ROTO-FINISHMULTI-PASS
MASS FINISHING EQUIPMENT

Single-function, multi-pass, continuous cycleUniformity: Multi-Pass Systems are a breakthrough in reaching higher degrees of uniformity from one part to the next. The fact that each part spends the same time and travels the same distance in each cycle ensures a higher level of uniformity than possible with conventional equipment.

Virtually Eliminates Part-on-Part Impingement: The channels in the Multi-Pass System maintain even sequencing parts, so they move precisely through the cycle, resulting in consistent part finish and virtually eliminating part-on part impingement. Multi-Pass Systems are also available for applications where part-on-part processing is desired.

Durability: Due to its improved mechanical design, the system's power requirements are lower than those of conventional designs. Additional cost savings result from increased working capacity per square foot of floor space and long bowl-lining life, which is achieved by placing the thickest lining in high-wear areas.

Multi-function combo machineContinuous Processing: The unique design of the Multi-Pass channels permits integrations with the manufacturing processes, such as casting, grinding, and stamping. Parts can be fed continuously, and all parts run at the same speed, with no time lost for loading and discharging.

Multi-Pass Functions: Multi-Pass Systems can be designed to combine any several mass finishing processes, including cleaning, ball burnishing, deburring, de-flashing, pre-paint finishing, preplate finishing, washing and drying. They can handle everything from ferrous and non-ferrous metals to plastics, wood, and ceramics. They are also ideal for parts that need to move from process to process.

High Automated Production: Multi-Pass Systems can be designed for operations demanding high, automated production, including stampings, bearings, precision-machined parts, fasteners, die castings, and bisque ware. They can be designed to handle part sizes ranging up to six inches in diameter, depending on part configuration. They can also be used to finish long parts, which tend to bend or jackstraw in conventional equipment. They are also ideal for relatively small operations, where the ability to combine processes is critical. See next page for sample processing and typical applications.

Controlled Cycle Time: The specially-designed channels in the processing chamber permit long cycle times, ranging from one to 30 minutes, depending on part size, machine size and desired finish. Each part moves through the machine in the same amount of time.
